some people have children and love lifes… i have this. tons and tons of fabric and ribbon and sewing projects. i can’t even begin to say what everything is and where it all is but it feels great to have it all finally sorted out. also as always amigurumi charlie kelly and my zombie cupcake pin cushion are hanging out.
my latest project in prep for this craft show has finally been going through my shamefully huge container of scraps that i will ‘SOME DAY USE!!!’ and seeing how much i have is just insane. when it’s all done i’m going to take a picture and then decide what to do with all of it. considering the size of most of these, i’ve been considering doing a give away for a quilter. would that even be something someone wants?
i feel like i’ve been sewing for days and it’s only been four hours… but the aprons are almost done for this custom order! plus i’ve had about a million additional ideas for camp nanowrimo in june. maybe that’s what’s taking so long?
Because I’m in that kind of mood, tell me the name of your Etsy shop and I’ll check it out! Please?
The last shot of my sewing room in this location. Moving in two weeks. The pink bins are full of fabric and aprons. The clear bin with the red lid underneath the table is all fabric. I also… totally stashed more fabric in the other white clear bins because I didn’t even realize I had it until after I’d packed everything… I have way too much fabric lmao. But the Charlie Kelly amigurumi is ready to go. (Taken with instagram)
So my aunt wanted me to make some aprons for her and her sisters and sisters-in-law for Christmas this year. I sent her an apron I made last year and she likes the pattern so she told me to just use that one. It’s not a pattern I really do anymore. Either way, I went and got some basic fabrics and used other ones I had (like the green with white microdot which she sent me) to make these. Not my best and flashiest work, but I think for a bunch of ladies cooking on Christmas, it’s kinda cute.
